A litigator at heart, Robert enjoys the chance to prove each case at court. To do that effectively, though, he takes the time to know not only the facts of each case, but the law for each side. Robert started his legal career at a plaintiff’s law firm in Los Angeles, California, representing injured workers. After learning that side of the law, Robert learned the other at a reputable defense law firm representing employers and carriers throughout California. He has used that knowledge to his advantage ever since.  He has represented carriers, third-party administrators, self-insured employers, municipalities, the California Insurance Guarantee Association (“CIGA”), employers with high deductibles, and uninsured employers. At trial, Robert has the experience of knowing what is needed to win an argument, what steps are taken to lead to victory, and what points are needed to raise on appeal. His reputation as a tried-and-true litigator also helps to negotiate favorable settlements, as the other parties know that if a case does not settle, then it is going to trial.
